OAUG Forum Presentation Administration Help
- The pages will best work in Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 and higher. The pages will function well in Firefox as well; however some aesthetic features may not be visible in Firefox. (E.g. Clicking on the Past Submissions will show the Status Declined as Red in IE but not in Firefox)
- Presentation Admin consists of Presentation Voting and Presentation Selection pages.
- You can navigate between these pages with the links available on each of these pages.
- Every page has “Export” capability. You can either export the presentations you have searched for or you can export all the presentations.
-
Each page has a “Search Criteria” where presentations can be searched entering one or more search fields.
- Search by “Session ID” will ignore other search criteria and return the presentation with the entered Session ID.
- If multiple search criteria are entered, you will see a list of the search items entered. You can click on the “X” to remove any search criteria to broaden your search.
- If applicable, you can select multiple items from the drop down items to search upon. (E.g., You can select multiple Tracks and/or multiple Product Lines to search for presentations falling in that category).
- Click on Search without any search fields to get all the presentations.
- Click on Reset to remove all the search criteria and return all the presentations.
- If you are idle or if you see the “Session Expiring,” click OK to continue your work. If you let the time run out in the “Session Expiring” dialog, you will be re-directed to the login page and you will lose any unsaved work.
Presentation Vote
- For general Search and Export features refer to the top section.
- There are two sections in the Presentation Voting page.
- “My Votes” will show all the presentations you have voted on.
- “New Votes” will show all the presentations that you have NOT voted on.
- The Search will filter both the sections simultaneously.
- The reports can be sorted, ascending or descending, by clicking on the column header (if applicable).
- The top right header of the report shows the number of records returned.
- The bottom right page of the report allows you to select how many records to display per page; it allows you to jump to a particular page; and also allows you to page though the report one page at a time, back and forth.
- Changing the “Show rows” option; jumping to a particular page number; or just paging by the click of a button will automatically save your votes and re-populate the grids in both the sections (My Votes and New votes)
- You can click on “Save My Votes” to save the votes on current page only.
- However, to update or delete your vote, you must select the rows (check on the right hand side of the presentation) and then either click on “Update Selected Rows” to update or click on “Clear Selected Rows” to delete.
- You can hover your mouse over the Presentation Title to see the Abstract. You can click on the Title to open up a window to see additional details about that presentation.
- The Voting Keys will always be visible on the top right corner for your reference. However, if it obstructs you, click on +/- to hide or show the Keys.
Presentation Selection
