Complete all items on the provided application form. The Presentation Selection Committee will not accept incomplete applications. Due to the number of presentations submitted, we are unable to contact you for clarification or additional information.
Primary Presenter / Author
Please ensure that your contact information is correct. Include all phone numbers and email addresses. See “Co-Presenters” item below. Only the “Primary Presenter” will receive a complimentary registration if their paper is accepted, their company is a current OAUG member and all deadlines have been met. Panel presenters will not receive a complimentary registration.
Complete co-presenter name(s) and organization/ company(ies) if any. All co-presenters must register and pay the full conference rate.
Title as you would like it to appear in the agenda. Your Presentation Title must be no more than 100 characters (including letters, numbers, punctuation and spaces) in length. Exceeding this limit will result in your title being truncated.
Please provide an abstract in paragraph format, to provide a short representation for the selection committee. Your abstract must be no more than 520 characters (including letters, numbers, punctuation and spaces) in length. Exceeding this limit will result in your abstract being truncated. The OAUG reserves the right to truncate any abstracts for marketing material.
Objectives should briefly describe what you hope to accomplish in your presentation. Please limit each objective to 100 characters (including letters, numbers, punctuation and spaces) or less. Exceeding this limit will result in your objectives being truncated. OAUG reserves the right to truncate anything beyond 100 characters.
Experience with Subject Matter
Please indicate the amount of experience the primary presenter has with the presentation’s subject matter.
The Presentation Selection Committee will use this information for balancing agenda topics to provide the maximum variety to appeal to our wide audience. You may select one Track from the list. Please pick this as the track under which you would like your presentation to be submitted.

The Industry Focus designation will be used to associate industry specific functional papers. You may select as many Industry Focuses as are applicable.
The Subcategory designation will be used to associate technical and all other presentations with specific areas of emphasis or focus. You may select as many Subcategories as are applicable.
As Oracle has absorbed companies, OAUG has grown to include their users. Product Line will help all of our attendees identify sessions that apply to the products they own. For example, PeopleSoft and E-Business Suite. In the case of education sessions that cover best practices or generic issues such as Training, “Not Product Specific” should be chosen. You may select as many Product Lines as are applicable.
Indicate the type of presentation session you will be delivering. If your Session Type is “Panel” please note that complimentary conference registrations will not be provided to panelists. White paper presenters are required to submit a white paper and presentation slides. Primary white paper presenters will receive one complimentary registration if all deadlines are met. OAUG Affiliated SIG Meetings are for OAUG Special Interest Groups wishing to meet during COLLABORATE.
Please indicate the audience that would be most interested in your presentation. For example, for a presentation on importing invoices into Accounts Payable (AP), you might indicate “Technical.”
Please indicate the audience experience level that would most benefit from your paper. For example, for an advanced presentation, you might indicate “3 - 4 Years (Advanced).”
If your paper is selected to be presented at COLLABORATE — OAUG Forum, you are responsible for making your own copyright arrangements, if applicable. Please refer to the U.S. Copyright Office for additional information.
Session rooms will only be equipped with a data projector with VGA cable, screen, lavalier microphone, podium or table lectern, and wireless internet (available to presenter only, not attendees.) Computers and telephones are not provided.
Approvals / Acceptance
All accepted presenters will be required to submit both a white paper and presentation slides of their accepted presentation. If the deadline for submission of this critical data is not met, OAUG reserves the right to cancel the presentation and replace with a new session and presenter. OAUG conference policy states that a presenter may only be accepted to deliver a maximum of three white papers (though a presenter may submit as many session topics as they wish during the OAUG open call for papers). All “Primary Presenters” and “co-presenters” must receive permission from their employer to present at any OAUG conference.
